Crowell Trucking is a North Dakota-based, family-owned trucking company specializing in frac sand, construction material hauling, and heavy equipment transport. Our on-site service shop maintains a fleet of diesel trucks, trailers, and equipment—and we’re growing.
We’re looking for a hardworking Shop Assistant to join our service team. If you’re mechanically inclined, reliable, and looking to build your skills in a busy, supportive environment—we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist diesel mechanics with basic tasks like oil changes, tire work, greasing, and tool prep
- Keep the shop clean and organized
- Run parts and help manage inventory
- Help move equipment, prep trucks, and complete safety checks
- Perform basic maintenance under supervision (training provided)
- Assist with yard organization and seasonal cleanup
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license required
- Mechanical background or shop experience is a plus, but not required
- Must be dependable and able to work in a team environment
