Overview
We seek a dedicated and experienced Shop Supervisor to lead our team in a dynamic workshop environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment. As a Shop Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel to ensure effective workflow and productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with management to develop operational strategies that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a mechanical or workshop environment.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience within leadership for a minimum of 2 years and/or experience within a coating facility
