Overview
We are seeking a skilled and creative Sign Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, capable of producing high-quality signage that meets our clients' needs. This role involves working with various materials and techniques to create visually appealing signs for a diverse range of applications.
Duties
- Design and produce custom signs based on client specifications, ensuring high-quality output.
- Operate various tools and equipment, including vinyl cutters, printers, and laminators.
- Measure and cut materials accurately to create signs of different sizes and shapes.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide recommendations on design elements.
- Install signs at client locations, ensuring proper placement and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain an organized workspace, keeping tools and materials in good condition.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies related to sign making.
Skills
- Proficiency in using an Ohmmeter for electrical components related to illuminated signage.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise specifications.
- Creative thinking skills with a solid understanding of design principles.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design software is a plus but not mandatory.
