Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Skid Steer Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating various types of heavy machinery, including skid steers, and will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate skid steers and other heavy equipment graders to complete construction projects efficiently.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery as needed.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate work activities.
- Load and unload materials using dump trucks as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to equipment operation and site safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with skid steers, excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
