True Solar is a locally owned and operated solar installation company. We pride ourselves in performing the highest quality solar installations available and doing things the right way the first time.
This job includes installing solar arrays on both roof and ground mounted applications, so interested applicants must be comfortable working outdoors and with heights. Solar is one of the fastest growing industries in the country, so we don’t expect solar experience. We need hard workers that have a desire to learn. We’ll teach you the rest!
We have a strong team where everyone supports each other and has fun. There’s no competition and no politics, just everyone pulling their weight and doing a great job. As we grow, we’ll be looking for internal candidates to fill Foreman and Electrician Apprentice positions. If you’re looking for opportunities for advancement, this is a great place and position for you.
Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair solar electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine the layout of solar arrays.
- Collaborate with our electricians to determine the best way to complete the installation.
- Provide a great customer experience!
- Give us feedback! The only way to improve is to look at your strengths AND weaknesses.
Experience:
- No solar experience required, we will provide training (it's not scary, we promise).
- Some level of construction experience heavily preferred.
- Problem solving attitude is required.
- Experience with basic hand/power tools required.
Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
