About the Role: Sommelier (with Leadership Responsibilities)
We're looking for a Sommelier with a deep passion for wine and a proven track record in upscale restaurant leadership . This role combines beverage expertise with daily operational leadership, making it ideal for someone who thrives both on the floor and behind the scenes.
You’ll guide our wine program, lead guest pairings, and train the team—while also contributing to the overall guest experience, service standards, and team culture.
What We're Looking For
Certified Sommelier or equivalent wine credentials (non-negotiable)
5+ years in fine dining or chef-driven restaurant leadership
A guest-first mindset with a sharp eye for detail and ambiance
Experience mentoring teams, leading service, and managing shifts
Strong collaboration with both FOH and culinary teams
A presence that commands the floor and inspires the team
Key Responsibilities
Lead and evolve the SOB wine and beverage program
Drive daily floor operations and service excellence
Train team members in wine knowledge and pairing recommendations
Maintain ambiance standards (lighting, energy, cleanliness, flow)
Support hiring, development, and overall team culture
Lead service with confidence, warmth, and precision
