Huntington Learning Center is urgently seeking a positive and passionate office assistant to join our dynamic team!
This is an in-person position at the Huntington Learning Center in Fishers, IN. This is a part-time position requiring between 20-30 hours a week.

Summer Schedule:
This is an in-person position at the Huntington Learning Center in Fishers, IN. This is a part-time position requiring between 20-30 hours a week.

Summer Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 1:00 pm -5:15 pm (must work at least 3 days during the week).
- Saturday: 9:00 am -3:00 pm (Mandatory).
Fall Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday: 3:15 pm -8:15 pm (must work at least 3 days during the week).
- Saturday: 9:00 am -3:00 pm (Mandatory).
- Sunday: 11:00 am -5:00 pm (Mandatory).
Basic Qualifications:
- 4 year college degree.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Minimum one year of office experience.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must have good computer word processing skills and ability to type 40+ wpm.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies in a calm manner.
- This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens.
- Ability to operate computers and other technical devices.
Responsibilities:
- Answer all telephone calls and properly transfer calls as needed.
- Answering routine telephone inquiries.
- Sort and deliver all mail, internal messages, and packages to the Center Director.
- Maintain student attendance logs.
- Speak with parents and take messages as needed for the Center Director.
- Maintain student login/out.
- Ensure lobby refreshments are available during specified hours.
- Maintain a clean and neat office environment.
- Perform all accountabilities in a timely and efficient manner following company policies and procedures.
- Work independently in a professional atmosphere.
- Keep the Center Director fully informed of all situations or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so prompt action can be taken.
- As a receptionist, always maintain a positive attitude which supports team performance and productivity.
- This position entails standing for long periods of time.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle a keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects.
