We are looking for daily help on increasing usage of AAC eye gazing device for 9 years old / Non Verbal. Caregiver training and client daily use increase is a goal. This is a perfect job for graduate and interns who wants to earn extra incomes while training your self with AAC device and Nonverbal client.
Ideally we want to have a staff come daily for 30-1 hour to work with clients. 4-6 days a week.
- Background in speech therapy strongly preferred but not necessary
- Background of school setting and experience in School Para or aide using AAC is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Implementing speech therapy programs for 9 year old Non verbal- focusing on communication skills using eye gazing device.
- Collaborate with caregivers and Speech therapist
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 6 per week
