Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to be based in Seattle, WA
Job Summary/Responsibilities
Lead a team of professionals overseeing the civil design of large-scale complex projects with a near-term emphasis on design-build delivery.
Supervise and lead project plan production and technical reports.
Establish budgets and schedules for project deliverables.
Develop and manage key client relationships.
Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
Present complex technical solutions to clients.
Perform quality control reviews of work developed by others.
Participate in the development of technical proposals.
Mentor, grow, and recruit staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree + 10+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
15+ years of experience in civil design.
10+ years of experience in utility design.
2+ years of WSDOT highway drainage design experience within the last 4 years.
A current P.E. license in the State of Washington.
Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets.
Knowledge of agency/regulatory approval process, standards, policies, and best practices.
Client connections and relationships with local and state agencies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills experience.
