Job Description
Your Career
As a Sr. Staff UI/Frontend Engineer on the NetSec GenAI team, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, collaborating with AI, data, and visualization experts to architect and develop cutting-edge interactive UI components powered by generative AI. You'll champion best practices in design and implementation, introduce impactful new technologies, and tackle the team's most challenging technical hurdles.
Your Impact
As a Sr. Staff UI/Frontend Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping how our customers understand and interact with their network security. You'll:
Architect and develop high-quality, scalable React components that deliver critical insights and empower users with actionable solutions. Lead the creation of a robust and concise design system, including components, libraries, and frameworks, to ensure powerful and consistent frontend applications. Proactively identify challenges and opportunities, proposing and implementing pragmatic solutions to enhance the team's development workflow and elevate product quality. Develop and implement engineering best practices, with a strong emphasis on test-driven development, setting the standard for the team. Foster collaborative discussions and build synergy with product stakeholders to deliver an exceptional and cohesive product experience.
Qualifications
Your Experience
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent or equivalent military experience required
- Minimum 6 years of related programming experience required
- Expertise in building web-based GUI development with excellent ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript programming skills
- Experienced in modern web frameworks and build tools such as React, Redux, Hooks, Webpack, Storybook, and npm/yarn
- Experience with Visualization Libraries
- Experience with creating responsive web applications
- Ability to work well with a group of senior and junior engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Experience with client-side modern build tools, and CI/CD Experience with Git Version Control and Linux environments
- Good grasp of asynchronous programming
- Can-do attitude on problem-solving, quality, and ability to execute
- Highly experienced in web application debugging and root-cause analysis
Nice to haves
- Experience with Data Driven Visualization
- Experience with UI test frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, react-testing-library, Mocha Able to troubleshoot system-level integration and performance issues GitHub portfolio or equivalent Familiarity with micro frontend architecture patterns and best practices
- Experience with containerizing applications with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
- Experience working with Canvas & SVG is a plus

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $126000/YR - $204500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
