Summary:
The Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE) Staff Assistant position will assist the Director of HSE with Safety, Incident Investigation, and Sustainable initiatives for the business and associated events, including the Miami Open and Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix. This role will help to champion the safety campaign organization-wide and also track and maintain sustainability certifications and data collection. This is a part-time/hourly position with anticipated work through the next FIFA World Cup 2026.
Location:
- This is a part-time/hourly position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety audits and develop safety plans in conjunction with Director of Health, Safety, & Environment.
- Conduct risk assessments, identify hazards, and lead incident investigations.
- Manage life safety checks.
- Assist with sustainability programs, including the collection, tracking, and maintenance of waste, water, and energy metrics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in or exposure to safety or security work is required.
- Current college student with a flexible schedule or recent graduate of a 2 or 4-year undergraduate program.
- Proactive and able to work well under pressure and under short deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
- Organized and able to develop processes to streamline work.
- Must demonstrate a positive and professional attitude at all times with a team-first mentality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Able to work nights, long hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
