Longwood Health and Rehabilitation is a 120-bed skilled nursing home. We are currently seeking staff nurses that can work 12-hour shifts at the facility. We offer Daily Pay and occasional pick-up shift bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Work and complete assigned shift with clock in time of 6:45 am to 7:15 pm or 6:45pm to 7:15am clock out time
- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff
- Coordinate and oversee patient care activities
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations
- Manage and allocate resources effectively
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in complex patient situations
- Administer medications, including IV infusions, as needed
- On call rotation
Requirements:
- Valid LPN/RN nursing license in the state of Florida
- Proven experience in nursing supervision
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology
- Excellent clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to effectively lead and manage a team of nurses
- Proficient in performing various nursing procedures, including IV infusion, phlebotomy, and catheter care
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
