Job Title: Part-Time Temporary Staffing Coordinator (On-Call) (Remote)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a part-time, temporary Staffing Coordinator to assist with scheduling and shift coverage for our clinical team (CNA and Nursing staff). This individual will play a critical role in ensuring our facility is properly staffed at all times.
This role requires flexibility and reliability, as the coordinator will be on-call outside of normal business hours to field calls from staff who are unable to work their scheduled shifts. Early morning and late-night calls are possible, given our 24-hour operations. The coordinator will also manage and confirm schedules, answer staff scheduling questions, and carry the facility’s staffing phone to ensure availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for staff call-outs, filling open CNA and Nurse shifts as needed
- Maintain, confirm, and update the clinical staffing schedule
- Answer staff questions regarding schedules and shift assignments
- Carry the staffing phone at all times to respond promptly to coverage needs
- Communicate effectively with the Director of Nursing and leadership team regarding staffing challenges
- Ensure reliable and timely shift coverage to support resident care
Qualifications:
- Prior scheduling, staffing, or healthcare coordination experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure
- Highly reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated
- Availability to respond to calls and texts outside of traditional business hours
- Experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus
