Job Summary
We’re a people-first workplace looking for a friendly, upbeat, service-oriented Store Associate to join our team. As a Store Associate, you’ll be the friendly face that ensures our customers feel welcomed, supported, and satisfied—whether they’re shipping packages, making copies, or asking questions about our products and services. This position blends hands-on shipping responsibilities with a strong emphasis on delivering excellent service to both walk-in customers and internal staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a welcoming, positive customer experience for every client who visits or contacts the store.
- Provide expert product and service recommendations based on customer needs.
- Handle transactions efficiently and accurately using POS systems (PostalMate, Cashmate, Square).
- Operate and maintain printing and copying equipment, delivering timely and high-quality output.
- Answer questions, resolve issues, and provide clear communication regarding printing/copying/shredding options and pricing.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments; notify customers promptly of package arrivals.
- Carefully pack and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring items are protected and labeled properly.
- Maintain organized and accurate inventory and shipping records.
- Help create an efficient and clean workspace to ensure an inviting environment for customers and staff.
- Conduct routine stock checks and notify leadership of inventory or shipment discrepancies.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for customers and team members.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, aiming for first-contact resolution.
- Stay informed about new services, products, and promotions to better support customer needs.
- Work collaboratively with teammates to achieve sales and service goals.
- Participate in regular training to enhance customer service and communication skills.
- Seek opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization
Qualifications & Requirements
- Basic Microsoft Office skills required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
- Skilled in communication, teamwork, and customer service in retail.
- Prior sales, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented, skilled at multitasking, and focused on accuracy and quality.
- Comfortable with POS systems (e.g.,Postalmate, Cashmate) and CRM software preferred.
- Committed to workplace safety standards and best practices.
- Maryland Notary certification (required or must be obtained upon hire).
- Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
