Pay Rate: $19.57 - $26.11/hr. depending on location, background and experience.
This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.

Under the direction of the Director of Lessons, Store Operations, the Store Lessons Operations Specialist will assist in coordinating, facilitating, and providing quality control of various lessons-based initiatives at Guitar Center.
The Store Lessons Operations Specialist will aid in coordinating requests of individuals or groups seeking guidance for new operational lesson location launches, facilitate training of staff members, and other academic growth and retention related activities, as needed. This individual will also assist in fulfilling the needs for Lessons support, communication, content-creation, training, and other related activities to both student and instructor-facing items. They will also assure that requests are coordinated alongside other complimentary departments to efficiently grow the Guitar Center Educational Programs and to better serve the company's community.
As our Store Lessons Operations Specialist, you will:
- Manages instructor profiles and content for Guitar Center and Music & Arts to ensure instructor visibility and high-quality biographies.
- Supports store locations with billing, customer service, and account-management-related tasks.
- Creates, organizes, and updates all educational/lessons information as needed while keeping accurate records and reflecting changes of course information in database and ancillary documents for distribution.
- Facilitates training (and provides critical thought of training materials) for remote locations while customizing for individual and/or specialized audiences.
- Coordinating, enabling, and providing quality control of various educational/lessons-based initiatives.
- Other special projects as assigned by Director of Lessons, Store Operations, or the Education Department's senior management team.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of customer service and/or lessons retail experience
- Strong knowledge of educational and music-based technology
- Travel up to 3% to various Guitar Center and Music & Arts locations across the United States
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to travel to, within and around a variety of locations, both interior and exterior for meetings, events, and other job-related activities
