How You’ll Thrive:
Good Earth Markets is successful in part because of our hard-working, passionate store managers, which is why we expect our store managers to have excellent customer service skills, strong management experience, relevant team training abilities, communication skills, excellent attention to detail, knowledge of computerized registers, and cash handling experience. We are looking for a dynamic individual who loves working in a retail environment and has a passion for serving others. The ideal candidate will have innate self-confidence that allows for the success of others, as well as excellent time management and personnel management skills.
A Day in the Life:
- Oversee all store functions.
- Work side by side with store employees in all departments on a daily basis.
- Ensure excellent customer service by cultivating genuine compassion and a desire to help people.
- Hire, train, conduct employee reviews, and lead the team in understanding and living the company mission.
- Create a positive work environment in which team members can grow and develop their skills.
- Maintain product availability, freshness, and store cleanliness.
- Maintain awareness of scheduling needs, theft prevention, fraud and shrink.
- Complete daily tasks that include purchasing, scheduling, and merchandising.
- Conduct staff and management meetings.
- Complete daily tasks that include standing for long periods of time, as well as repetitive lifting and bending, and light janitorial tasks.
Availability and Compensation:
- Full-time, minimum 50 hours per week (salary), Sunday - Saturday availability
- Salary, $65,000 – $75,000/DOE
