Jiffy Lube Store Manager
Position Overview:
The Store Manager at Jiffy Lube plays a critical leadership role by driving performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating a positive and productive team environment. This individual is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, developing team members, managing financial and operational goals, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will lead by example, demonstrate integrity, and inspire others to achieve excellence in a fast-paced retail automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Development
- Train, supervise, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and quality work.
- Foster a collaborative, team-first culture focused on safety, integrity, and accountability.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for all employees, promoting professional growth and development.
Customer Service
- Ensure every customer interaction reflects the Jiffy Lube brand promise of fast, friendly, and professional service.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Operations Management
- Maintain high standards in store cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and overall presentation.
- Ensure all safety protocols, company policies, and standard operating procedures are followed consistently.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate daily workflow to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Financial Management
- Manage inventory, labor, and controllable costs to achieve profitability goals.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Perform cash handling, deposit reconciliation, and end-of-day reporting with accuracy.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of management experience in retail, service, or automotive environment (preferred).
- Comfortable working in shop environments and outdoor conditions
- Weekend availability required
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage a team and resolve operational challenges effectively.
- Basic understanding of financial reports and ability to interpret business metrics.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or technical training preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
