Position Summary:
The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations while building strong relationships with contractors, builders, and developers. This role includes managing the store team, ensuring smooth order fulfillment, and actively engaging in outside sales. The ideal candidate will be comfortable running the location and stepping out into the field to understand customer needs and offer product solutions that save time and money.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day store operations, including staffing, inventory, and customer service
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while actively pursuing new accounts
- Make regular visits to job sites and customer offices to assess needs and provide product recommendations
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, orders, and deliveries
- Work closely with the team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to overall growth of the company
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in store management, preferably in the building materials or construction supply industry
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and building processes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to manage your own schedule and lead a team effectively
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
