The Street Soccer USA Park Manager in Denver serves as the heart of our urban soccer hub, responsible for cultivating a vibrant community rooted in sport, belonging, and purpose. This role leads the creation, development, and nurturing of inclusive programming for all ages, while also ensuring the physical infrastructure of Skyline Park is maintained as a welcoming, safe, and inspiring space.Through thoughtful program design, strategic partnerships, and daily presence at the park, the Manager brings to life the mission of Street Soccer USA—leveraging the power of play to build healthy communities and positive social impact. This individual is equal parts community builder, program architect, and operations leader.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cultivate Community Through Programming
- Design and lead weekly programming that includes leagues, clubs, drop-ins, and social impact initiatives for youth and adults.- Nurture inclusive, identity-affirming spaces where participants feel seen, heard, and safe to play.- Build a calendar of events and activations that reflect the needs and interests of the local community.- Create and grow new programs in response to community feedback and social trends (e.g., Sober Soccer, Women’s League, Toddler FC).- Act as an ambassador and storyteller—sharing the purpose and impact of SSUSA with players, families, and visitors.- Support youth development through SSUSA’s Community Club model, including mentorship, life skills integration, and leadership opportunities.
2. Nurture Partnerships and Community Relationships
- Foster strong partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, public agencies, and mission-aligned groups to co-create programming and share resources.- Engage community members in planning, feedback, and celebration of SSUSA events.- Represent SSUSA at local events and community forums to deepen trust and visibility.- Create collaboration opportunities with health, education, and justice organizations to amplify shared impact.
3. Lead Day-to-Day Park Operations
- Manage all aspects of Skyline Park’s daily operations, ensuring it is clean, safe, and activated with energy and intention.- Open and close the park according to a rotating schedule of activities, rentals, and leagues.- Maintain inventory and equipment (balls, cones, bibs, water, first aid) and ensure gear is accessible and in good condition.- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvements with vendors, city partners, and SSUSA leadership.- Track attendance, field use, and programming metrics through systems like Salesforce.
4. Grow and Sustain Leagues and Rentals
- Curate and manage Street Soccer USA's local leagues (I PLAY FOR Leagues: Co-ed, Women’s, Youth, Sober, and more).- Develop creative marketing strategies (social media, email, flyers) to grow league participation and diversify access.- Oversee league operations: scheduling, referee coordination, roster collection, fee tracking, standings, and on-site conflict resolution.- Respond to community inquiries via email, text, and social platforms in a timely and respectful manner.- Manage evening and weekend rentals to local partners or organizations, ensuring seamless transitions between uses and strong customer experiences.
5. Inspire Through Events and Special Projects
- Organize community events such as Street Soccer Festivals, city-wide Cups, and seasonal celebrations.- Support storytelling and digital content by sharing highlights, success stories, and visuals with the communications team.- Support with grant-related outcomes such as participant waivers, surveys, and impact data collection.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Knowledge and experience with the game of soccer including coaching
- Proven ability to build trust and community across diverse populations.- Deep understanding of the power of sport to drive social change.- Experience designing, launching, or scaling community programs or leagues.
- Experiencing with budgeting and tracking
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a bias for action and grace under pressure.- Comfort with digital tools- Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred.- Ability to work evenings and weekends; on-the-ground presence is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
