Major Job Function
1. Performs Library Services. Helps patrons locate books and find materials online. Checks books in and out at the front desk. Sorts and shelves books according to their categorization. Registers new customers and maintains and updates customer profiles. Assist customers with internet access and ensures their technical needs are met. Inspects the condition of books before and after check-out to ascertain any damage on behalf of the customer. Manages inquires over the counter and via email or telephone.
2. Library Programs. Assists in the implementation of library programs as directed.
3. Performs Other Duties as Assigned.
Minimum Requirements for Position
Applicant must be at least 16 years of age. Experience in customer service role. Basic computer literacy, organizational skills, attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.

EXAMPLES OF EQUIPMENT UTILIZED: Operates office machines including computer, calculator, copy machines, and other equipment as necessary.
