Title: MHS Student Safety Hall Monitor
Salary: Starting at $ 17.00 an hour
Hours: 26 Hours per Week – (10:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)

Description: MHS strives to maintain the highest possible standards of safety and student accountability to nurture a positive school climate for all. The key elements of this position will involve monitoring a variety of areas on campus, including parking lots, hallways, commons/cafeteria, and restrooms.
Qualifications - Responsibilities Under the direction of the MHS Administrative Team:
1. Ability to relate/work with students, staff and community members.
2. Possess a positive interest and understanding of children.
3. Demonstrated ability to work patiently but firm with children.
4. Ability to work independently in various supervision settings.
5. High School Diploma, equivalent or GED required.
6. Red Cross / CPR certifications or willingness to be trained.
7. Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification or willingness to be trained.
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Duties and Expectations:
1. Monitor high school campus grounds before, during or after school.
2. Assistance with supervising students during lunch, flex periods, and study hall.
3. Effectively communicate issues with appropriate faculty and staff.
4. Reliable attendance and consistent work ethic.
5. Neat and professional in appearance and behavior
6. This position requires candidate to be on their feet and walking the duration of their work day.
7. All other duties assigned by authorized personnel and/or supervisor.
