Responsibilities:

• Assist Office of Advancement and Office of Alumni Engagement with event logistics and support
• Set-up, tear-down, and clean-up for events
• Greeting and checking in guests
• Assist the Office Manager & Gift Administrator with day-to-day functions of the Advancement Office
• General clerical duties such as data entry, file maintenance, preparing and mailing materials to donors and/or alumni

Requirements:

• Must be comfortable interacting with people, including VIP guests, donors and alumni
• Occasional physical labor to move boxes and event material - must be able to lift 10 pounds or more
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Knowledge of database management preferred
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the willingness and ability to learn new technologies
• Exhibit professionalism by arriving at work on time, working scheduled hours, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and maintaining a positive, helpful attitude
• May require periodic adjustment to the weekly work schedule to accommodate support for special events
• May require working after regular business and/or on weekends
• Maintain high-level of confidentiality while working in the Advancement Office
• Able to work with limited supervision once tasks are assigned and instructions are provided
