- Current Substitute Teaching License issued by the Ohio State Board of Education or ability to obtain one;
- OR 1 Year Multi-Age (P-12) Temporary Non-Bachelor’s Substitute License
- Five (5) years of industry experience preferred;
- Strong classroom management and communication skills;
- Documented evidence of acceptable criminal record as required by Ohio law and Auburn Career Center Board Policy.

Work Schedule: 185 days per school year (Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.)
Position Description:
Auburn Career Center is seeking substitute teachers to support our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. We welcome both experienced trades professionals and general substitute teachers who are enthusiastic about supporting hands-on, career-focused instruction. Whether or not you have a background in a specific trade, your flexibility, classroom experience, and ability to manage students effectively are key to ensuring a productive learning environment.
