Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stored, and handled in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately while maintaining a balanced cash register.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area, including equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
