Duties:
- Prepare sandwiches according to customer preferences and company standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sandwiches
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any concerns
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and slicers
- Maintain inventory of sandwich ingredients and notify management when supplies are low
- Assist with general kitchen duties, including cleaning and organizing workstations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to ensure orders are prepared efficiently
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
