Position Summary

We are hiring a Supermarket Refrigeration Foreman with at least 8 years of supervisory or management experience in supermarket refrigeration. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring expert knowledge of refrigeration systems, project oversight, and a commitment to safety and quality. The ideal candidate will lead by example in the field and demonstrate strong technical and team management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead field teams in the installation and service of commercial multiplex refrigeration and cold storage DX systems

• Interpret and execute refrigeration blueprints and construction plans

• Perform and oversee piping, pump downs, and refrigeration system startups

• Maintain safety and productivity on job sites, ensuring all work meets quality standards

• Supervise journeyman technicians and subcontractors

• Communicate effectively with project managers and clients

• Ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained and used

• Travel to job sites as required (including some nights, weekends, and out-of-town work)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of supervisory or management experience in supermarket refrigeration

• Extensive knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, pipe fitting, and installation practices

• Ability to pipe and pump down both single and multiplex systems

• Strong understanding of computer-controlled refrigeration systems

• Proficient in reading blueprints and refrigeration layouts

• Excellent leadership, communication, and mechanical skills

• Minimum 5 years of journeyman-level field experience in refrigeration construction

• Type II EPA Certification required; Universal Certification preferred

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Must pass a drug-free workplace screening (DFWP)
