We are seeking an experienced Supplier Risk, Stability, and Sustainability Leader to join our Supply Chain Management team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to assess, mitigate, and handle supplier risks while ensuring sustainable business practices and supporting our Diverse Business Enterprise (DBE) initiatives. This role can be 100% remote within the United States, but will require approximately 25% travel to visit our manufacturing sites and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive supplier risk assessment frameworks
  • Lead supplier financial health monitoring and early warning systems
  • Create and implement supplier quality improvement programs
  • Maintain relationships with critical and high-risk suppliers
  • Lead all aspects of DBE supplier development and integration programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Drive sustainability initiatives within the supply chain
  • Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions
  • Lead supplier audits and improvement initiatives
  • Create and maintain supplier performance metrics and scorecards

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
  • Consistent track record in supplier risk management and development
  • Extensive experience in handling high-risk suppliers (quality and financial)
  • Strong understanding of supplier quality management systems
  • Experience with DBE supplier programs and development
  • Demonstrated success in implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Excellence in partner management and communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
  • Professional certifications (CPSM, CPIM, Six Sigma)
  • International supply chain experience
  • Experience with sustainability programs and ESG initiatives
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience with supply chain analytics and risk management tools

The base salary range for this position in Pittsburgh, PA, is $109,100 - $147,200 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
