Bluegrass Dentistry is expanding into the Louisville market with a brand-new, high-tech practice focused on full-arch implant solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a tight-knit, high-performing team where you’ll make a real impact from day one.
We specialize in advanced surgical procedures, including All-on-X full-arch cases. Our practice is fully digital, incorporating the latest in scanning (Trios, iTero, Omnicam), digital imaging, in-house design and milling, and 3D printing.
We’re looking for a Surgical Dental Assistant with implant and/or surgical experience who is motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to help patients transform their lives.
What You'll Do:
- Assist in implant and surgical procedures including extractions, grafting, and All-on-X cases
- Ensure proper setup, breakdown, and sterilization of surgical operatories
- Capture digital impressions and photogrammetry scans
- Provide excellent patient communication and support pre- and post-op
- Maintain accurate documentation using Dentrix (preferred)
- Uphold the highest standards of infection control
- Anticipate doctor’s needs and contribute to efficient, smooth procedures
- Help manage surgical inventory and instruments
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of experience as an EDDA
- Surgical and/or implant experience is required
- Experience with All-on-X or full-arch cases is a strong plus
- X-ray certified
- Coronal polishing preferred but not required
- Familiarity with digital scanners (Trios, iTero, Omnicam)
- Dentrix experience preferred
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented
