Position Summary:
Smith Pools is seeking a reliable, hard-working Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves daily route-based service of residential and commercial pools, including water testing, chemical balancing, debris removal, and equipment checks. Candidates must be detail-oriented, physically capable, and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine pool cleaning: brushing, vacuuming, skimming, and emptying baskets
- Test and balance water chemistry using test kits
- Inspect and report on pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems
- Communicate with customers regarding service performed or issues identified
- Maintain accurate service records and submit reports through mobile service software
- Safely handle and transport pool chemicals
- Maintain company vehicle and equipment in clean, working order
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pool maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required (training provided)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily route
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Basic mechanical skills are a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
