Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with ManTech!ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems.
Reviewing and preparing engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.
Performing functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, testing, or evaluating software, components, or systems related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems, associated support systems, or management information systems.
May provide tasking and supervision to lower-level employees on the program.
Domestic Travel up to 10%.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Scientific area
3+ years of experience working in areas associated with engineering and/or systems engineering
Experience utilizing Microsoft products, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience in working with one or more of the following: Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process, Engineering Data Requirements Agreement Plan (EDRAP, Airworthiness Qualification Plans (AQP), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Navy aircraft or surface ship systems
Experience writing and executing ECPs
Familiarity with NATIPS and NATOPS
Clearance Requirements:
Must have a current and active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain prior to starting on program
Physical Requirements:
Tasking is primarily computer based.
The person in this position must be able to operate and perform tasking on a PC.
Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and management through email, phone, and other virtual communication methods.
The projected compensation range for this position is $75,700.00-$126,300.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
