Duties
- Communicate effectively with customers in both English and Spanish to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Sell products by demonstrating their features and benefits, ensuring customers are informed and satisfied with their purchases.
- Conduct product demos to showcase new items and promotions, enhancing customer engagement and driving sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash register.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and easily accessible.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries related to products or services.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for effective communication with diverse customers.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service within a retail environment is preferred.
- Strong ability to communicate clearly and persuasively to drive sales results.
- Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus, along with an understanding of retail math concepts.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
