YSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to support the program at Fort Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of information systems, performing software testing, and recommending workflow and procedural improvements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all information systems products and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing to verify software functionality and identify defects.
- Document and troubleshoot issues, working toward timely resolution.
- Report progress on issue resolution to management.
- Develop improvements to existing processes and models for potential future configurations.
- Perform workflow analysis and recommend quality enhancements.
- The Data Engineer shall provide an analytics reassessment for the sustainable, repeatable dashboard update process with a focus on data integrity and consistency performance.
- The Data Engineer shall provide professional services to develop a performance management framework, including metrics development, performance governance support, and other aspects of performance management.
- This reassessment shall include an evaluation of how and what resources are being used, an inventory of data reports, extracts, and elements from long established systems of records.
Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance required.
- Ability to work onsite at Fort Belvoir, VA - Hybrid
- Strong experience using Power BI in data analysis/visual analysis/and generating reports
- Tableau Experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in software testing, data analysis, and process improvement.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
