Job Summary

The Talent Management Generalist is responsible for supporting a variety of HR functions with a strong focus on full-cycle recruitment across all lines of business. This role partners with hiring leaders to attract, assess, and hire top talent, while also managing candidate pipelines and delivering high-touch onboarding experience. In addition to recruiting, the HR Generalist provides general support in employee relations, performance management, and other core HR processes.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts across all lines of business, including developing and executing effective talent acquisition strategies, proactively sourcing and building candidate pipelines, partnering with hiring leaders, and ensuring a high-quality candidate experience from application through selection.
  • Guide leaders to develop hiring criteria and to define clear job duties and qualifications necessary to attract top talent and meet operational needs.
  • Coordinate and support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition for new hires, collaborating with internal teams to align onboarding with the organization’s culture and team expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders across the organization, serving as a trusted HR resource in identifying talent, supporting internal mobility, and workforce planning.
  • Partner with leaders to address employee relations matters, including concerns or grievances, and provide guidance to ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures in a respectful, compliant workplace environment.
  • Support performance management and employee development by assisting leaders with goal setting, feedback, and development planning that aligns with individual and organizational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records in HR systems, including the applicant tracking system, talent reporting and analytics to support data-informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to broader HR initiatives, including training, engagement, benefits, and compliance, offering well-rounded generalist support across a variety of functions.

Experience Needed:

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, with demonstrated experience in full life cycle recruitment and employment management, including employee relations.
  • Solid understanding of HR principles, policies, and employment law.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry preferred.

Education, Licensure & Certification Needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field is required. Significant and progressive career experience can qualify in place of formal degree.
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or similar certification is preferred.

  • Exhibits excellent communication skills with an aptitude for fostering positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills, detail orientation, ability to multi-task and standard of excellence in work performed.
  • Demonstrates excellent time management, judgement, critical-thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain current knowledge of Labor Law, employment policy and people management skills.
  • Works comfortably with autonomy and in a team environment. Can effectively balance the need to work plan fully on long-term needs and adjust quickly to meet unexpected needs of a situation when necessary.
  • Operates with the highest level of professionalism and confidentiality, serving as a role model for ANB’s brand and culture at all times.
  • Demonstrates a strong aptitude and desire for personal learning and growth.
