Wet Nose is the first of its kind…a safe haven for dogs and cats, in a retail setting. From Fear Free® grooming and training, to Fear Free® play time for anxious dogs, our mission is to educate and offer support to the pets in our community and the fur-parents that love them. Every Wet Nose team member is a Fear Free Certified Professional® along with all service partners, trainers and groomers. We are a unified team, with a common mission.
We strongly believe in work-life balance for our team, which is why our store has reasonable hours: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm. All team members, including management, work no more than a 40 hour work week, with 2 days off. We work hard and are serious about what we do, but love to laugh and have fun.

Our beloved baker is relocating (cue the tears and treats ), so we’re searching for a paws-itively amazing person to fill her apron. If you’re a passionate baker who dreams in frosting and adores pets, we want to meet you!
What You'll Do:
As our in-house Pawstry Chef, you'll take the lead on all things sweet and savory in our kitchen. Here's a taste of the role:
Bake & decorate our signature dog cakes, cupcakes, cookies & seasonal treats
Make our homemade doggie ice cream and create weekly deli specials
Oversee presentation and packaging—think bows, boxes, and beautiful branding
Photograph creations for marketing (bonus points for a great eye and good lighting!)
Innovate! Research trends, create fresh recipe ideas, and source packaging that reflects our vibe
Order ingredients & kitchen supplies, manage inventory, and cost out recipes to maintain profitability
Oversee savory food production (bone broth, toppers, meatballs, etc.)
Send recipes for guaranteed analysis (we’ll show you how)
Assemble & label all product packaging with attention to detail and style
Collaborate with our team—we’re a small crew, and we’re better when we work together
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in baking (human or pet-friendly)
Creativity, efficiency, and a ridiculously good eye for detail
A love for dogs (and cats!) and the people who adore them
A team player who thrives independently but isn’t afraid to pitch in
Reliable, organized, and eager to grow
Bonus Points If You:
Have decorated cakes or cookies professionally
Have experience with food safety guidelines
Know a thing or two about pet nutrition
Are a social media-savvy photo whiz
