We are looking for a Teacher Assistant to work in our Early Intervention Day Treatment (EIDT) setting. The individuals would work with children to provide a nurturing environment for early developmental learning and pre-K skills.
This position is the best fit for someone with a heart for children with needs in the areas of Developmental Education, Speech, Physical, Occupational therapies, ABA or Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Present care and lessons in a comprehensive manner and use to facilitate learning
- Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
- Record students’ progress and provide feedback
- Maintain an orderly and clean classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents and therapists and participate in scheduled meetings
- Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
- Provide ADLs and care for children.

Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with students effectively
- Experience working with diverse learning needs, including early intervention techniques is a plus but not required.
- Safety sensitive position passed drug tests are a requirement.
- Passed background checks are a requirement.
