Are you passionate about nurturing young learners? Woods Montessori is seeking a dedicated Assistant Guide for our Infant and Toddler classroom to support our vibrant community of children aged 0 to 3 years.
About the Role
As an Assistant Guide at Woods Montessori, you will help foster independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in a mixed-age classroom.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting our Lead Guides in creating a thoughtfully prepared environment that promotes independence and concentration
- Observing children closely to understand and meet their individual needs
- Supporting individual and small-group lessons, guiding children in using Montessori materials with clear and respectful language
- Building meaningful relationships with each child to nurture a respectful, collaborative classroom community
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children ages 0-6 in a school or childcare setting
- A warm, adaptable, and committed approach to supporting each child’s unique development
- Work authorization verification is required prior to employment
