We are hiring passionate, bilingual educators to join our growing Dual Language Immersion program!
As a DLI Teacher, you will empower students to become bilingual, biliterate, and culturally competent. This role delivers standards-aligned instruction for 5th grade in English & Spanish, fostering bilingualism, biliteracy, academic achievement, and sociocultural competence. The teacher works collaboratively to implement the dual language model with fidelity and promotes inclusive and equitable learning environments.

What You’ll Do:
- Deliver daily instruction in both English & Spanish language, aligned with curriculum frameworks and WI Academic Standards.
- Design and implement lessons that promote language development, literacy, and content mastery.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction.
- Foster a classroom environment that celebrates multiculturalism and bilingualism.
- Collaborate with general education, ESL, and special education staff to support all learners.
- Communicate regularly with families in both English and Spanish, preferred.
- Participate in school-based professional development and DLI team planning.
- Integrate culturally responsive teaching practices.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
What You’ll Bring:
- Valid WI DPI teaching license for the appropriate grade level (PK–5)
- WI DPI Bilingual-Bicultural Education and/or ESL certification
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Ability to teach academic content in English and Spanish
- Experience in a dual language or immersion setting, preferred
- Understanding of second language acquisition and biliteracy development
- Strong knowledge of culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices.
