KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages and directs the technical service department and responsible for programs to meet organizational needs
- Maintains and reports on KPIs to the VP. Assists in the identification of appropriate KPI for tracking efficiency and efficacy of technical service activities.
- Develops and implements technical service procedures (particularly as they relate to our ISO certifications)
- Ensures the quality of data, reports, responses provided by the department
- Ensures that work is completed on time and within budget
- Keeps updated with competitive technologies and movements of industry as a whole
- Communicates with sales managers to prioritize project work
- Other duties as assigned by the VP
- Participates in project work as required
- Complete all safety and application training
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in scientific or engineering field preferred. Without experience, training/education is recommended.
- This role will typically have 15+ years' experience, including education.
- Experience with instrumentation, MS Word products, SharePoint or database management software preferred.
- Without experience, technical, associates, or college degree in chemistry, life science or related field required. College or advanced degrees in scientific fields preferred.
