You will contribute by
As a key member of Hover’s Recruiting Team, you will work closely with Engineering leaders and recruiters to strategically define hiring needs and develop tailored sourcing strategies across a range of technical roles, including Computer Vision, Backend, and Full-Stack Engineering. You’ll take ownership of outbound sourcing and candidate engagement efforts, focusing on building high-quality, diverse pipelines and fostering strong, long-term relationships. Your role will also involve creating scalable programs and processes to enhance our sourcing operations—from crafting effective outreach campaigns to optimizing tools and workflows. Through compelling storytelling, you’ll help amplify our talent brand and bring Hover’s mission, values, and culture to life for prospective candidates. You’ll play a key role in driving a data-informed recruiting approach, using insights and analytics to refine strategy and improve outcomes. Above all, you’ll lead with curiosity and initiative, continuously learning, sharing best practices, and helping raise the bar across the entire recruiting team.
Your background includes
- 5+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, ideally in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Proven success sourcing candidates in specialized areas like computer vision, product engineering, and full-stack development.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage candidates and influence stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with a collaborative, problem-solving approach to recruiting challenges.
- Commitment to excellence in both candidate experience and internal partnership.
- Proficiency with sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Gem, etc.) and strong process discipline.
- Passion for inclusive hiring and a strong interest in areas like diversity & inclusion, recruiting analytics, employer branding, or team enablement.

Hybrid roles at Hover
Hover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles. This is a contractor position based in the Bay Area on a hybrid model.
The US range for this position is $60 - $75 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
