As FCP Euro’s Technical Videographer, you’ll play a central role in producing the content that powers our DIY and diagnostic video library. Working from our garage studio in Milford, CT, you’ll be hands-on with every part of the shoot -from lighting and camera operation to audio capture and footage organization. You’ll work closely with our on-screen talent and post-production team to make sure every video is not only visually compelling but also technically flawless and easy for viewers to follow.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate all studio cameras, lighting, and audio equipment during DIY and technical video shoots
- Lead all in-studio filming and work alongside on-screen talent and creative leads
- Proactively troubleshoot gear, lighting, or shoot complications in real time
- Ensure proper footage offloading, organization, and delivery to editors
- Maintain and organize all video equipment and studio tools; perform regular equipment checks
- Collaborate with the production and post-production teams to ensure a smooth workflow
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to scale technical production
- Help document production processes and best practices for training and onboarding
- Contribute to pre-production planning with technical recommendations and solutions
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized garage studio space
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in video production or technical videography
- Deep technical knowledge of studio camera operation (Sony experience preferred)
- Strong skills in studio lighting setup and creative problem-solving in live environments
- Proficient in audio recording setups for live dialogue and ambient conditions
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and Media Encoder
- Strong file organization and workflow management for post-production handoff
- Comfortable working around vehicles and shooting in garage/shop environments
- Familiarity with automotive content or terminology is a major plus
- Able to self-manage and remain adaptable in changing shoot conditions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams

Compensation
This is an exempt salaried role with a base salary of $45,000 - $70,000 depending on experience, with a total compensation opportunity of $50,000 to $75,000 annually.
