Position Overview:

As a Borough Associate, you’ll take ownership of a specific NYC borough and play a key role in driving business development and closing deals in that market. Working closely with your Borough Director, you’ll co-lead meetings, conduct outreach, and coordinate with clients from initial contact to closing.

This is a commercial real estate brokerage role that combines deep local expertise, market analysis, strategic relationship building, and high-volume transactional execution. It’s an opportunity for driven professionals to build their book of business, become experts in NYC’s development landscape, and grow into leadership positions within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

● Serve as a market expert for your assigned borough, understanding zoning, comps, pipeline, and ownership

● Source and secure exclusive listings through high-volume outreach (calls, emails, in-person meetings)

● Lead and co-lead client meetings, pitch presentations, and strategy calls alongside your Borough Director

● Manage full deal cycles: prospecting, underwriting, marketing, negotiation, and closing with assistance from our cutting-edge, proprietary technology

● Build long-term relationships with developers, investors, landlords, and institutional clients

● Collaborate with other Landair brokers to share intel and maximize deal flow across boroughs

What We’re Looking For:

● Entrepreneurial mindset and strong internal drive

● Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust with clients

● Strong analytical thinking and market research abilities

● Resilience, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a high-performance environment

● Previous experience in sales or business development strongly preferred

● Interest or background in commercial real estate or finance

● Bachelor’s degree preferred

Compensation & Growth Path:

● 100% commission-based compensation with uncapped earning potential

● Direct training and mentorship from Borough Directors and senior leaders

● We cover New York State Real Estate License coursework and exam fees

● Clear track to growth as a Senior Associate, Borough Director, or team lead
