Our Telemedicine Provider is a crucial part of our mission with their primary responsibilities being to provide optimal care to patients, handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure patient health. The Telemedicine Provider will work under the supervision of the Physician and consult with Physicians when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Treating patients via tele-health visits (via video or phone call)
- Utilize clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually.
- Collaborate with both virtual and in-office teammates via regular huddles.
- Join weekly huddles
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of NP/PA experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Room or Primary Care is preferred, but not a must
- Bachelor and master’s degrees from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant program
- Current New York State professional license
- Board certification by the NCCPA, American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- DEA license required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification through American Heart Association required.
