JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Telesales Representative Dept: Sales
Reports to: Telesales Team Lead EEO Group: 7
Summary of Responsibilities:
Initiates outbound calling campaigns to existing and past customers. The focus is on developing constructive and cooperative working relationships while setting the platform for future sales growth.
Primary Duties:
Initiates contact with existing, past and potential customers. Captures customer specific information pertaining to available programs, budget and purchase needs. Identifies reasons why customers are no longer purchasing and reports to management. Extends special offers and promotions designed to initiate customer service
Develops constructive and cooperative work relationships. Maintains prospective client pool through telephone networking and campaigns. Adjusts sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific customers. Structures follow-up plan adhering to department call protocol
Explains products, services and prices and answers customer questions
Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and orders
Contacts customers with products on backorder, recommending alternate product choices
Facilitates catalog requests and processes customer orders for merchandise as needed
