In this role you will design, develop, implement, and execute all aspects of an information environment and cybersecurity test and exercise program, including the development of tests and drills to test emergency preparedness, conduct tabletop exercises, and functional exercises to simulate cybersecurity attacks to drive capability improvement. The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies for our network security systems, cyber security capabilities, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our network infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of network operations, security protocols, and software development, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Some travel may be required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Test and exercise Strategy Development: Design, develop, and implement testing strategies for network security systems and software.
- Lead and execute functional, performance, and security testing for NOSC systems.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Work closely with network engineers, security analysts, and software developers to identify and resolve issues.
- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in testing and exercise development.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to mid and junior level test and development specialists.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Business Management, Data Analytics or related field
- 4+ years of experience in project management, data analytics, and financial modeling
- Understanding of ITIL4 principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Familiarity with Network and security operations, SIEM systems, IDS/IPS, and firewalls; familiarity and experience with writing, planning, and exercising Continuity of Operations (COOP), and Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures and plans
Preferred Qualifications:
- FinOps Certification
- PMO experience
- Previous Network Operations Center (NOC) or IT Operations experience
- One of the following certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Data Management Pr5ofessional (CDMP), Six Sigma Certification, ITILv4
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD suitability is required prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
The projected compensation range for this position is $62,300.00-$103,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
