Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing processes. You will work closely with developers and project managers to identify requirements, create test plans, and execute tests to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on various software applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and design.
- Utilize tools such as Visual Studio for debugging and testing purposes.
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions to clarify project specifications.
- Implement CI/CD practices to streamline the testing process.
- Test RESTful APIs to ensure proper functionality and integration.
- Document test results, track defects, and communicate findings effectively with stakeholders.
- Provide feedback on software usability and functionality to enhance user experience.
Requirements
- Proficiency in AWS for cloud-based testing environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and their command-line interfaces.
- Experience with software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C for automation scripts is a plus.
- Knowledge of MVC architecture is beneficial for understanding application flow.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while being self-motivated.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to articulate issues clearly to technical teams.
