Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Textile Production Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dry cleaning processes, equipment maintenance, and basic machine operation. In this role, the technician will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of textile-related machinery, performing regular maintenance tasks, and adhering to quality standards.
Job Duties:
- Inspect dry cleaning thoroughly at various stages of the restoration process. After washing, pressing and final assembly. Final inspection of the material is required
- Check for stains, odors, soot’s, mold, mildew, and other signs of damage
- Manage items that require additional pressing and restoration steps
- Ensure all items are inspected thoroughly before preparing for delivery to the customer
- Run pressed closing through the steam tunnel
- Assemble orders by component item type and ensure that operations are running smoothly as organized
- Complete Inventory and bag items correctly and efficiently
- Provide total box counts for inventory and document them accordingly
- Create and attach tags for boxes before placing the items to the correct destination
- Provide light maintenance when needed
- Communicate effectively with the production manager and team members to ensure workflow is obtained and standards are met.
Job Requirements:
- Restoration knowledge is highly preferred
- Maintenance experience is preferred, but not required
- Machine Operator experience is preferred, but not required
- Direct Dry-Cleaning experience is preferred, but not required
- Assembly experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid Driver’s License

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
