Summary
TITLE: Back Room / Maintenance
DEPARTMENT: Thrift Shop
CLASSIFICATION: Contractor
REPORTS TO: Operations Director & On Site Thrift Supervisor
Summary
This is a contracted position to assist as needed with maintenance, heavy lifting, and back room processing at our busy Thrift Shop. Hours are as needed 6-10 hours per week. Friday and Saturday availability required.
Highlights of Thrift Shop Back Room /Maintenance Essential Functions include:
- Perform maintenance details such as trash and hardware/repair
- Be a team player
- Assist with donation handling
- Assist with donor pick-ups
- Maintain a clean shopping environment
Essential Functions
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to multitask in a busy Thrift Store setting
- Maintain a team philosophy promoting and embracing the FISH Philosophy.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Working in a customer service environment; compensation based on experience level.
