Tire Technician Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimal mechanical background and a passion for automotive service. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for performing tire services, including installation, alignment, and maintenance, ensuring that vehicles are safe and performing optimally. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
Duties
- Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs on various types of vehicles.
- Perform Full truck and Trailer PM Service including oil change, filters , greasing and tire rotations.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete tire service tasks.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance and general automotive repair as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering recommendations based on vehicle needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Lift heavy tires and equipment as required, adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in tire service or automotive repair is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
- Sales experience is beneficial for assisting customers with product recommendations.
- A commitment to ongoing learning about vehicle maintenance and tire technology is essential.
