Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sharing information and experiences with visitors, showcasing the unique aspects of Portland and Kennebunkport. As a Tour Guide, you will provide engaging narratives and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of leadership, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Responsibilities
- Conduct guided tours for diverse groups, ensuring an informative and entertaining experience.
- Share historical, cultural, and practical information about the sites visited.
- Engage with visitors by answering questions and fostering an interactive environment.
- Maintain group safety and ensure adherence to tour schedules.
- Confident driving a 14 passenger Van
- Collaborate with team members to enhance tour offerings and improve visitor satisfaction.

Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage audiences of all sizes.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a knack for teaching and guiding others.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tours run smoothly and on schedule.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
