Job Description
Supports resort operations by performing basic HVAC tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders.
As a Trades I - HVAC, you will:
- Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management
- Execute daily tasks and assigned HVAC projects while supporting other trades as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance on split systems, PTAC units, condensers, and air handlers
- Install or replace HVAC components, such as condensers, thermostats, fan motors, and minor components
- Read and interpret technical data and O&M manuals effectively
- Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site
- Operate resort operations software and devices effectively (HotSOS)
- Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactions
- Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management
- Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools required for HVAC work
- Work using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, dust masks, and in confined or narrow spaces
- Follow safety guidelines and practices
- Identify and report potential safety hazards on the property
- Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution
- Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures
- Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior
- Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership

Qualifications
- Technical certification or HVAC license required
- Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license to drive company vehicles
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment
- Must be detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in outdoor weather conditions
- Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
